Phillip Bolte started in the construction business in 2004 developing and constructing a small ranch style condominium community on Catawba Island. Since then Phillip has overseen the custom design, construction and completion of several single family homes in Port Clinton, Catawba Island and Marblehead.
Phillip specializes in designing custom homes from scratch and oversees the process of building a home from the day it’s dreamt up by the owner until the home is built and ready to be enjoyed by the owner. The thought of building a new home can be overwhelming to some but the fact is it can be and should be an enjoyable experience. He will guide you through the entire process. From Planning, to Construction, Phillip will be with you throughout.
Planning:
A well thought out plan is the key to a successful project. Often times a plan starts with a simple sketch, pages from a magazine, etc. Phillip is with you from day one overseeing the design process, site planning and working with zoning authorities. Architectural plans will include a site plan, exterior elevations, interior floor plans, electrical plans and an interior trim schedule. Once complete, Phillip will work with you to select interior items such as flooring, cabinets/countertops and mechanical fixtures. Finally, and before commencement of construction, you will be provided with a final project data sheet that will outline the plans for the home, the finish materials and, of course, the final price for all the work to be completed.
Construction:
From ground breaking to completion Phillip invites all this clients to be as much or as little a part of the construction phase as they wish. Some clients like to stop by to see the daily progress while others do not. Phillip’s friendly team of contractors have been working together for several years and has a great understanding of one another. Your home will be built with the quality materials and craftsmanship that only Phillip would expect to be used in his own home. Typically, the time to complete a home from start to finish is around 6 months.
